Broome booms in cattle export

THE Port of Broome is now the third largest live export port in the country after shipping a record 97,170 cattle this year, ABC Rural reported.

Located in Western Australia’s Kimberley, Port of Broome has shipped 46 cattle vessels to Indonesia.

The port’s chief executive Vic Justice told ABC rural the record numbers in shipments is due to the increasing demand for cattle.
