ENTRIES are now being invited for the Safety at Sea International Awards 2009.
The awards recognise standards of excellence across the international shipping safety market.
The awards will be presented at the Safety at Sea International Awards 2009 Dinner, following the SASMEX Conference, which will be held on 10 June 2009 in Oslo, Norway.
The four Award categories are equipment, systems, training and management/operations.
Companies that have introduced safety related products and/or services that were new to the market in 2008 are encouraged to enter.
The 2009 Judging Panel includes the Managing Editor of Safety at Sea International Paul Gunton, President of V.Ships and president of Intermanager Roberto Giorgi, Managing Director of Intertanko Peter Swift, and Head of Warsash Maritime Academy Bob Joughin.
Entries should be made in writing, submitted by post or email, describing the new product, service or innovation and saying why it deserves to be considered for an award.
Entries should not exceed 1000 words and should be accompanied by no more than six diagrams or illustrations and emailed to info@lrfairplay.com.
The closing date for entries is 30 April 2009.
